Toyota Tapestry Grant Winning GPS Project

Here is a link to my Blog documenting our Strolling in Space/Time--Navigating in History and the Environment project which won an $8,000 grant from Toyota.

The center piece of the grant is the purchase of 15 Garmin Gekos, mapping software, laser rangefinder, surveying equipment, etc.

As Tech Coordinator for our school, I will be using Geocaching-type activities to teach the use of the GPSrs to the kids.
