Cool Greetings from Bowdoin, Maine

Hello everyone,

Just starting this GeoCache Craze. I recently discovered using a GPSr and I am looking forward to the adventure.

I am not new to the outdoors or to hiking and camping, but this combination of nature and high tech is creating a whole new synergy.

I think I'll look for my first cache this afternoon. Looks like there is one just down the road. Wish me luck!

Thanks in advance to those who lend a helping hand to the newbies

Welcome. This is the site to be, as mentioned before any questions are welcomed. You will be addicted to geocaching before long if not already!
Sorry, you can not add yourself to your own ignore list.

Speaking of being addicted to geocaching Jordan ,how come there are so many caches by Northwoods Explorer up your way that are still unfound? I 'll tell you if they were down this way they would have been found before the sun rose........

Default questions?

Don't forget the Monday Night chat. 8PM on .....you guessed it, Monday's. We have newbies and veterans, ready to answer your questions, or address your concerns. Good Luck on your first cache.

Welcome neighbor. I'm learning a lot from this sight, read new and old posts, think about joining us at the pig roast in June. Its just down the road and you'll learn a bit and meet some people.

I like the fact that you put "regulars" in quotation marks since there's nothing regular about many of these "regulars."

P.S. Welcome to the forum. Feel free to ask questions . . . it's one way of learning.

Talking I Did It!!!!!!!!!

First, thanks for the welcomes.

2nd, I logged my first find this afternoon. (Lisbon Falls Fishing Park Cache by Katadin Goddess) It is jut 3/4 miles from work so I decided to swing by. It wasn't quite as easy as I thought it might be, but I learned a lot.
