Sounds like this would have to be an over-nighter, as I don't think there's anything like this in CENTRAL Maine.

Thumbs up I know of one

Our very own Sea Dog here in Bangor has all kinds of Micros on tap. At least I think they would qualify as micros. Good Ales and beers regardless.

I'm not a big fan of the sea dog, but there is a micro brew in skowhegan, one here in waterville, and one in farmington. We could hire a bus to drive us around.

But I think the best bet for a crawl-like enviorment would be down in the old port, I think there's only one or two micros down there (I know Gritty's is down there, and I think I've been to another, but for some reason my memory of the place is a bit foggy...) But there are plenty of waterin holes within walking distance.

I don't drink very often but my arm can be twisted once in a while... This is the place I like to go in Portland if I want a good pub and food atmosphere.

Yeah - but their beer is hard to find. I've looked for it but haven't seen it in quite a while. I'd love to try it. Have to check their tour schedule again.

But I have to go to Boston tomorrow - land of the BIG liquor store!

The pizza shop here in waterville has it (the railroad cafe) I think it's called Old Pond Brewery.
