Just checked on EBAY there are quite a few deals with the $100.00 rebate you might want to check them out as well.
Just smile it won't crack your face

The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four persons is
suffering from some sort of mental illness. Think of your three best
friends -- if they're okay, then it's you.

Do be careful, though--some rebates will be denied if there is no "real" invoice to go with it--some companies actually deny rebates with "eBay" receipts.

I agree, but I think Garmin is OK on stuff like this.

    From Garmin's rebate page:

Please Note: Rebate coupons are not valid for purchases made at auctions.

And from Garmin's FAQs on auctions:

Garmin does not have any authorized dealers that sell new products directly on online auction sites. Any purchases made through online auction sites are on a "buyer beware" basis. A copy of the original sales receipt is required as the proof of purchase for warranty repairs. Online auction confirmations are not accepted for warranty verification and Garmin will not replace any missing components from any package purchased through an online auction.

Hmmm... I wonder if this is a recent change. This isn't what Garmin told me when IO talked to them (admittedly, it was a couple of years ago...)

I'm not sure how long they have been doing that. The following is also written in big, bold print on the rebate form for the 76Cx and 76CSx:

"Please note: Rebate coupons are not valid for purchases made at online auctions."
