Speaking of which, I think it's the Waterville/Skowhegan area's turn to host an event If Haffy will help, I'll volunteer RULOST2? (JUST KIDDING, Sweetie...)

But I'm up for an event....

Who else do we have in the Waterville/Skowhegan area? Volunteers to help???

    Thumbs up Fantastic!

Awesome!! I'm not from that area, but if there is something that I can do to help or support your efforts from the South, I would be happy to. It will be great to see everyone!

    Arrow Let's Go!

Let's all meet at Big G's in Winslow! December 18, 2004?

We are not all really THAT busy that we couldn't slide in a lunch with friends, are we?

    Default Can't either

Not sure if your suggestion was in jest Cameo, but I can't do the 18th either. After the holidays would be better - though believe me, I would rather be having lunch and fun with my geocaching buddies than out spending $ on holiday shopping - ugh!

Talking Serious about a cache event...

I think we should have a cache event soon. And BC is probably right about waiting until after the holidays.

How about January 22? Happens to be my birthday so there's another reason to celebrate!!!

    Ideas?

    Default Let's do it!

After the holidays would be better...sometime in January. Charron and I will help you out Bruce in any way we can. I like beer and wings.

Cameooooo mentioned Big G's in Winslow (just across the Kennebec from Waterville), which is a deli-type sandwich shop noted for their HUGE sandwiches. Slices of bread are about 1 square foot, so most people just order a half.

They often host gettogethers, so I think this is a good suggestion. Easy to get to from an I-95 exit (3-4 miles and only a couple of turns), so it should be good.
I would avoid the 11-1 time frame, though, as it draws a big lunch crowd.

And I'm pretty sure they don't have beer... (Sigh.....)

    Unhappy No Beer

Hard to have a beer and wings event if they don't sell beer and wings.

Well, we could have it elsewhere, but "Cammy" (I hate trying to remember how many "O"'s to use) did have a great idea for a location.

And the wings and beer were so good at the last "beer and wings" event, that I'd hate to start comparing....
