    Default Maybe it's me

He made it look like it's impossible to find a cache. I felt he put our hobby in a very poor light. Not at all like the last TV report we saw.
    Happy Trails!

We got to get some experienced cachers to go on one of these excursions and show them what it's all about. I agree Brad.

RanMan22's prediction: One and/or both of two things will happen:

    1. The micro at the Paul Bunyan statue gets a HUGE number of logs soon
    2. The micro at the Paul Buynan statue gets muggled rather quickly, since the video clip practically shows you where it is...

    *sigh*

I agree with Mainiac -- I don't think they put the spin on this story that they could have.

Maybe someone should hook up with him for a sequel and show him how professionals do it. Then again, I stood at that kenduskeag cache 3 times before I was able to actually attempt the cache.

I think it depicted someone who didn't fully understand what he was doing, and am glad he was light hearted about it. The part I liked least is when he didn't trash out the McDonald's cup.

As far as getting muggled/lots of logs, that would not surprise me either. The cache I did in Lewiston for the Sun Journal - There was no permission to place it there and the property owners soon found out about the cache and had it removed. I've part felt responsible for that ever since. But, that's part of the game and reinforces the need for permission in some places.

I know it and there was even a trash can in the background when he walked up to the fountain. Sheesh... we just have to talk to these people.
