    Cool Eye of the Muggle

After reading a recent amusing log from my Oscar Pup in Kittery (GCX6YR) I am curious. How have you tried to avoid the "Muggle Eye" while looking for a cache.

I was working on the placement of one of mine here in Salem and a car was coming up on me, I rolled over so it was like I was working on the underside of my van.

    Got any stories?

I usually turn my gps around and pretend my GPS is a camera, and I pretend to take pictures.

One time a lady was looking at me for like 15 min at about 20 feet away, just staring at me, when I started talking to myself in gibberish and she got up and walked away... about time!!

I've used the Garmin "cell phone" trick a couple of times.

Usually if I'm at work trying to get a quick grab and go, I'll pull my service truck up close to where the cache is and pretend like I'm workin on somethin.

Don't you do that normally anyway? You must be a PRO at that!
