    Seriously, I love being back home in Maine, hated to leave in the first place. But tax-wise, my favorite state was New Hampshire. No sales tax, no income tax, it was truly a beautiful place, tax-wise. And otherwise, of course, but I need some salt air in my lungs or it ain't home...

    Sheesh! I can spell Norridgewock, Kennebec and Penobscot, but some of those Indian names in New Hampshire are GHASTLY!

    Default How Low will it Go?

    When I went through Newport this morning on my way to Bangor, regular gas at the Irving Mainway in Newport was $2.63. When I came back at about 3:00 this afternoon, the price was $2.59, with LONG lines of cars lined up to fill up!
