    Thumbs up firefighterjake hits 500

Just knew our geocaching pal was going to slip right by his 500th quietly and probably alone. That is fitting...........that's Jake!

Hey, TGIF buddy - congratulations and on to many more enjoyable journeys. It is fun to search for your caches, cache with you, view your photos and of course read your stories.

    On to many more!

    Thumbs up Well I agree

Jason it was a pleasure to have finally met you. I have thouroghly enjoyed doing the caches you have placed. Of course you will do some more eventually, right. 500 is a good milestone, at least in Maine it is. Congrats to you.
    Happy Trails!

Ah . . . must have been one of the first ladders that I placed on Deer Isle. My "records" still show that there are still a number of ladders in those caches still . . . of course folks may have taken one and not recorded it in the logs. Unfortunately, I don't see these ladders becoming valued collector items anytime soon.

Same here Brad . . . although I will have to think twice before offering free pizza to geocachers in the future!

    Default Congrats!

Congrats Jake. I enjoyed meeting you at the ATV ride in Troy where I discovered that you have another hobby, taking pictures of ATVs splashing through mud holes.
The trouble with doing nothing is that it is hard to know when you're finished.
