Post Cache leads to Bomb Scare

    Hey guys and gals,

This isn't about a cache in Maine, but here's another news story about Geocaching...not exactly the publicity our sport needs, but the police were very cool about it. Check out the cache log they left.

It's a reminder that in the times that we live in, we have to be careful about where the caches are placed, rehides, etc. Enjoy!

P.S. I found this on the gpsthegame.com message boards.

Cache that caused the bomb scare:

The cache was placed by the Butler County Tourism Council. Check out the log for August 24th! The police created the username bombguy and logged the find w/ photos!

I think the picture on the log of the police "disabling" the bomb is pretty good.
