I have to go in the backway. There has been noone there several times. I don't usually bother anymore. If Rick doesn't want to use the old one, then I guess I'm out. And I understand why he HAD to change.

This is a busy time of year. I log in sometimes, only to walk away to finish a project for Christmas or something else that needs to be done. Probably other people are in the same predicament.
It might help to keep reminding people about the chats as well.
Hopefully things will ease up soon!

I agree with T2H.Accessing the chat is ....awkward and cumbersome at best, maybe this is due to the anti-virus software and anti-spyware software I use, which I am compelled to use as my system serves as a network for several remote systems.
I did like the last chat that Mainegc.org was using. It was fun to use with the little icons and color schemes and it made it easier to follow who was saying what. Not that it's hard to follow the conversation now but like BrDad stated, getting up and walking away from the computer is almost inevitable for us as we are chasing 2 little girls. Once I leave the computer while in chat, its sometimes hard to get back into the conversation.

I pop in once and awhile to see what is going on and I frequently find that no one is in there and end up leaving. I to like the other chat with the color schemes and such. I am not a big fan of Java anything, except coffee
Anyway I am sure it will get better after the holidays are all over and we can relax again.
