Or did you mean I've Found My Thrill was westerly of the photo location?

I knew it looked familiar! Stef and I were just canoeing on that river last weekend, we were helpin out with the duck race, keeping all the ducks in a row! I'll post a new pic in a few (gotta run some time sensative errands first)

Maybe I'm thinking of the wrong cache,,isn't "I've found my thrill" over towards Jackson? If so that would mean that Unity is westerly.

Nope, you're thinking right . . . I've Found My Thrill is in Jackson and I believe that would make Unity to the west of that cache . . . I'm just kicking myself since I thought the pic looked familiar, but couldn't quite place where it was -- one of those I did a long, long time ago (well two years ago seems like a long, long time ago!)

Not to get sidetracked . . . which I do so easily anyways . . . but how did the race go? Also, before I forget, if you guys ever want to borrow my canoe let me know.

And on another note . . . how many more hours Misawala????? Has the hourly countdown begun yet?

Ok, TRF - you were right, and I was wro... well, I was almost right. I got "I've Found My Thrill" confused with the archived cache "I Found My Thrill......................", which was close to the location of Smitty & Co.'s cache "Bluebery Hill", which is in Rome.

Odlly enough I have been to both caches (DNF'd on the one in Rome), and found the one you mentioned, but I had forgotten.

And yes, "Almost right" still qualifies as wrong!

This will be an easy one for those that remember the story that goes along with this cache... while we were waiting we made a sign for any search and rescue planes that might be flying over at the time...

Race was good, the water was low and slow, so we had our work cut out for us, while I was manuevering the canoe like kyak to get the stranded ducks and stef had a big fishing net to catch em and toss em back into the current. We didn't win, the BBQ after was great, and the rain held off just long enough for us to get everything cleaned up and put away.

(she's not counting the hours, i think she's more stressed than excited)
