    Default Paper

We still use paper, we don't have a PDA yet, and our Magellan 300 has no USB port for downloading, so it's all hand loading for the coords. Caveman style all the way for us so far. We have a binder for our cache pages, and its getting quite thick already. Maybe someday we will come out of the stone age, but for now, we are still havng fun. It's not about the numbers for us, we don't care if we get 1 cache in a day, or 5 or 6. All the finds we have so far have brought us to some really nice places and we have made some good friends doing them. Happy Caching to everyone,,

A year ago on a very windy blustery Jan day we were about to do Field of Ouch. We had all of our caches printed that we wanted to do that day sitting on the dash. We opened both doors at the same time and all of our cache pages went flying out the window down the ice coated parking lot. It took us a bit to CITO it all!!! We had a PDA in our hands shortly after that and have been paperless ever since.

With that being said...... Yesterday we went down south to do some caching and got to our first cache only to find the PDA battery was dead. Unfortunately it didn't have regular batteries we could replace so we could only do a select few caches Today the PDA is charged !!!

If you are looking for a cheap or free PDA ask co-workers who may have upgraded to Blackberrys. They probably have their old Palms sitting in their desks. We have gotten 2 free ones this way

I can't vote- I use neither. I put the info. into my GPS and that's all I use.

I'd like to know what this acronym is too?

in my days....PDA meant "Public Display of "Affection"

I call it a "Pocket PC" (PPC) instead....

I use a PPC and never use paper anymore. Its so much more convenient and worth every cent I paid for it...
