    Default Our new toys

We went out and bought a couple of new toys today that I thought I would show off. Maybe we can plant a couple of our own caches with these so other cachers that like to sled can find them. I don't know if that has been done before. Where would you hide a cache that could be found all winter long. I think it would be pretty easy to find it by just fallowing the footprints in the now. Does anyone have any ideas?

Nice toys. Now all we need is some snow to go with them.

I've been wishing that there were a way to indicate on cache listings that a cache was "winter accessible". I noticed while caching in Quebec and New Brunswick that a LOT of caches are in plastic grocery bags hung from trees in the middle of the woods. They're easy to get to and you don't have to worry about digging in the snow.

Perhaps we could start a standard for "winter caches"?

    Default The Selector

Check out this site http://www.9key.com/selector.asp You can attach this when you post a cache on GC.com. It give you a whole list of attributes or info so you don't have to list it all. One of them is available all year round.

Cool! I had seen these before, but I didn't know the site. Thanks. (I hope you posted this in the links...)

(And I think ATTROLL should ask them to add a banner for the geocachingmaine site... )
