Default Geocaching Guidelines Updated - February 2007

After considerable work and discussion, the guidelines for publishing a cache page on geocaching.com have been updated. The last version was dated November of 2005, a long time ago by geocaching standards.

A summary of the changes has been posted here: http://forums.groundspeak.com/GC/ind...owtopic=156242

A link within the summary will take you to the new guideline document. Hopefully, both the summary and the full document are clear, but if you have questions I will be glad to help with clarifications to the extent I can.

I like the newly written version, especially the Letterbox Hybrid section as it's always been a bit of a pet peeve of mine.

What I wish I could have seen? The banning of LPCs, and the minimum distance between caches extended to at least .25 mile.

Now the hard part - how do we get cache hiders to read the guidelines??????
    DNFTT! DNFTT! DNFTT!

"The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it..."
