I noticed 3 new caches but they say unapproved and yet they apparently have been published. Is it just another GC.com glitch? There appear to be a lot of glitches lately. Maybe a result of them upgrading the systems? I hope so.

Hey Haffy,
I must have missed them. Can you post a link to them?

Last night at least one of those caches actually had a name in the list. Today they popped up as Unapproved. When you go to the page, I got a name. This has happened before a few weeks ago as the 52 pick up caches were coming out but it corrected itself.
They're all posted as they should be now. It must be that there is a backlog of caches waiting in the queue and they come up in the order that they are published I guess.

This was posted over on http://www.atlanticgeocaching.com
Question of the week is ..... why is caches showing up Unapproved even tho they are listed....
This is CT's answer (actually borrowed it from someone else)
Just give it a little time.
The databases on the various servers are not always properly synchronized,
and that causes this problem. It generally takes a few hours, sometimes a
little longer. Database replication and server synchronization are sometimes
hampered by cats rubbing against those servers, or bad bearings on the main
hamster wheel.
Sorry, but please be patient.
This is my answer...
Groundspeak is currently working on the site... so its probably something that is going on over there in the transfering and stuff.
Give it a bit of time and it should sort itself out.
Basically... its groundspeak and it should work itself out.
Thanks!
