Sad news...

I noticed the following obituary in the paper today. Maybe someone can confirm that it is the daughter of EGSG. Our hearts go out to them.

AUSTIN, Texas - Jennifer Geissler, 25, passed away April 28, 2007, in Austin, Texas. She was born in Bangor, to Edward Geissler and Laura McElroy. Jennifer graduated from John Bapst High School in 2000. She lived in Bangor for most of her life and adored her many friends there. Jennifer will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Jennifer is survived by her father and stepmother, Edward and Sharon Geissler; three brothers, Andrew Geissler, A.J. Hayes, and Robbie Hayes; grandmothers, Shirley Geissler and Annabelle McElroy; and dear friend, Josh Tran. She is also survived by eight aunts, eight uncles, numerous cousins and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, in the memorial chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, Austin, Texas.

I saw that too. I assumed that it was Ed's daughter as he moved to TX. I hope they are getting through this very tough time OK.

Sad news indeed. EGSG does stand for Ed and Sharon and they did move to Texas, so it must be them.

That is truly sad. She was my sons age. She was a beautiful girl. It brings tears to my eyes.

I hope the family is finding comfort from their friends and family at this difficult time....
