Default Maine crosses the 2000 active caches barrier!

We knew it was going to happen, and now it has. Maine has over 2000 active caches. I am awaiting the data to update the stats page, will update later today.

That's a lot of caches - one for about every 12 square miles for the entire state! That's about a 2 mile radius...

Is 2000 a good thing or a bad thing? I think it's good, but I wished they were more dispersed. There are a lot of cacheworthy areas available here.

Hard to believe that as few as 2 themed, seed-caches have resulted in 157 of those hides. That reminds me, I have one to hide..

    Question

Does anybody know what other states average?
