    Smile Hi Maine Geocachers !

My geocacher's name is OusKonNé, I'm from Québec and this is my first post on this forum.

My wife and I went to Maine a lot of times in the last years, mainly for the beaches around Wells and Ogunquit. This year, we would like to visit the Acadia National Park and find some geocaches in the area.

We are looking for a One Bedroom Cottage with a small kitchen. I didn't find any on the Internet. Is there any cottages in this area available at a reasonable price?

By the way, I laughed when I saw the geocacher's name "WhereRWe" because my geocacher's name is exactly the same, but in French Slang... Great Minds Think Alike!

    Waiting for your answers.

    Best regards.

    We stayed here:

for a night in one of the cabins a couple of years ago (got rained out of the campground). It was very nice, and they cut us a deal on the price.

    Have fun in Acadia!

Thanks The G Team for your answer!

    Looks great!

Using your link, I found this other link:

    I have a great choice.

    Thanks again, I appreciate.

We laugh when we see the local WhereRWe, too!

By the way, I have a cache here in Bangor Which has a sister cache in Quebec, another connection!

I think he meant to say "loco" not "local" WhereRWe.
    Enjoy your stay.

"Touché coulé" seems to be the "little" sister of "You Sank My Battleship!".

Another nice place to stay in Bar Harbor is Emery's cottages http://www.emeryscottages.com/cottages.html
Their rates are as reasonable as any place on Bar Harbor during "in season"!

    Welcome!

There are a lot of good caches from the Canadian border south - along US Route 201. We've been caching in Quebec many times - generally around Sherbrooke/St. George - but have never cached in Quebec City.

We just booked for a week at the Emery's Cottages in August.

We went a lot of times to Wells-Ogunquit area for the beaches, but this is our first time in Acadia Park.

    Hope we will enjoy.

Thanks Hiker Twins for the reference.
