    Default Welcome to the sport!

    Mad-Muffin,
To me, the most important thing about hiding a cache is that the place is special to you. That way, you will always want to do the maintenance part.

Some people put so much time and effort into their caches, that we mortals can only set back marvel!

Look at this thead for some more ideas:

Is there any talk of placing more Earthcaches closer to the Canadian Boarder near Calis?

First Summer Sunrise GCZBV by Northwoods Explorer is another close to the border Earthcache but a tad North. They have published a number so do a search for their caches and you can get a list.

If you are going to do the Acadia cache there are some more Earthcaches on the island and one in Schoodic on the way there too.

There is an Earthcache program where after a number of finds and meeting some criterias you can actually earn pins. (There is usually a link to this information in the details of the Earth Cache page.) No doubt these caches are very educational.

Well dude I'm a bronze member now, I have 8 placed in Nova Scotia and was wondering if anyone would be interested in setting one up in this area:http://www.maine.gov/doc/nrimc/mgs/e...ites/oct03.htm
theres two potential spots that would be cool for a Earthcache.

    Ah Canadians . . . they're always so polite!

It's no bother . . . we like our Canadian neighbors and I personally love Nova Scotia . . . and Prince Edward Island . . . and New Brunswick and . . . well you get the idea.
