I am currently in negotiations with Eric Colley and a local movie theater to bring this movie to Maine for a private screening. The cost is considerable and I don't know if I can make it happen, but I will try. Keep your fingers crossed! If there is anyone that would like to help, email or PM me for the scoop.

I am thinking maybe if this site got together with the other site and joined forces on this particular venture it would be beneficial to all. Wish I was up there. I had some conversations with Eric some time ago about bringing the movie to the Railroad Square Cinema in Waterville as they are a great venue for independant films in the area and every year they host the MIFF festival there as well, which was just held there in July. http://www.miff.org/ That is the Maine International Film Festival. Hopefully something will come of all this and good luck with it,sorry I can't be there.

I was thinking a more "southern" venue may be beneficial as well. Wish I had more connections in this industry, that's for sure. We'll see what happens.

There is contact info at the bottom of the MIFF page if you wanted to see if they could preview the film there in Waterville. Here is their website for more info about them. http://www.railroadsquarecinema.com/

    Default Wish I had known

Wish I had known about this discussion.

I was lucky enough to attend the movie premiere in Seattle (I was out there to attend a graduation)

The Movie was good. not great... just good. Paul Proios (one of the main actors) sat 2 seats over from me and Hallie Shepard and Eric Colley were at the movie.

The premiere was held at a pizza and beer cinema (like keystone, smitty's and chunky's) which might have sat 75 people at max capacity. I think I counted 29 people in attendance, and the few I spoke with weren't even geocachers. Admission was $7.

I'd recommend the movie to geocaching friends, but not to noncachers.

Without giving anything away I'll leave this post by saying they did a great job with the movie.

If anyone want's a full critic with spoilers let me know and I'll post one.

If I remember the prices they wanted to show this film - someone or a group would have been out a lot of bucks!

The movie sounds interesting. Hope to see it when it makes it to Maine.

No doubt it will be a "B" type movie but I had a lot of fun with the game and glad you were able to get to see it in Seattle GFY. Hopefully it will come down this way at some point.
