    Default Last Cache bash events

Just a note to say Thanks to Mainiac1957 and Hollora for their hard work putting on the events on saturday. The hard work was very evident, and a great time was had at both events. Thanks a lot, and hope to attend again next year.

    Smile great time again.....

I hope these 2 events will become an annual pilgrimage for us from the south.

Definitely well planned out and great swag too. Although I should have stayed at the Holiday Inn Friday night. I was not in the know. Thanks to the both of you for the great time again!
Why not live life like it is your last day....instead of pretending to be a member of the Peter Pan Club and believing you will be around forever.

Now this idea has merit! Next year, how about making a weekend to remember? An "Avant the Last Cache Bashe" event at the Holiday Inn on Friday? (We might even have enough "points" for a free night!)

I'd bet that RULOST2? would "call in" that weekend, too...

It was a pleasure to work with Brad on making this a reality. He was very supportive of making a weekend of it. Thanks to him for our weather Gods!

One event is good but we were hoping you would all think two events was great. It seems we may have achieved the goal.

So wonderful to see new or newer cachers mix with others. There was a great amount of caching chat going on. Also, a load of mentoring and teaching. Sure hope someone took some photos. Meant to bring my camera out and just didn't.

I posted to the GC web site but Attroll won the laptop (coin) and Girlmate the PDA (coin). Someone did leave behind a white Sterlite bowl with a blue snap on top and spoon (pasta salad). If it's yours or you know who brought it - please PM me.

It was a pleasure hosting this group. Geocahing friends or Geocachers you just have not met yet!

Also, I would be remiss if I did not mention two other things. Thanks to EMSDanel for his "Escorted Zoo" tour, information and creative tickets for admission. If anyone when on the tour, didn't get a ticket and wants one for a souvenier - let me know. Lastly, none of this would have been possible without the help and support of my husband, Ralph, and kids - Francis Family, bgrffdave and ALinMaine. Thank you everyone!

Yup....right on. It was raining on the way home from the run. I am so happy that it held off...nothing worse then 400 sweaty & wet runners who want to huddle under the eaves with you.
