    Default Garmin/Mac software

Looks like Garmin might be making good on their promise to have their GPSr's Mac compatible (by the end of 2006).

I haven't tried it yet, but the beta is out there, hope it works. I've waited for 1 1/2 years for my 60CSx to be able to download PQ's. Kinda PO'ed at them for promising compatibility that long ago.

End of 2006?? Are you mad 'cause it's obviously past that date?? I'm a little slow tonight, aren't I?

Yeah, they had a press release in early '06 stating that they would be Mac compatible by the end of the year, so I got a 60CSx in Dec. (My etrex vista was OK, I could upload PQ's to THAT, but not the new one).
'06 came and went. I called them several times last year, no luck. Maybe this will finally work, but I'm not holding my breath.

    Hi, I'm a Mac.

And I'm a PC. What are you doing Mac?

I'm trying to download a Pocket Query to my Garmin.

Oh . . . guess you should have bought a PC, huh?
