Default Can we change the poll?

My vote wasn't for the top two (I think). Can we now just use the top two and do a revote? That way, my vote will now matter.... does that make sense?

i think that sounds like a good idea, vote on the top choices. so this could be the GCMNL Caucus...

Lightbulb Should this be a primary?

Personally, I'm totally open to accepting this poll as a primary and opening another poll with the top three or so choices. I think the board takes the newsletter name more seriously than I, and I've deferred to them for all things newsletter related, so I'd like to hear what they have to say about this idea...
Until then, keep the votes coming!

I think this is far to trivial a matter to run another vote for. The options were given and a final date was set. I say stay with this for now, and maybe at a later date the name can be re-addressed.

Went you look at the number of members and then the number of votes - well, it's sort of like the real politics and polls. A lot of people just didn't seem to care.

BRDad has a point. Just move the motion so to speak.

My top choice wasn't in the running either but I'm ok with whatever it is called. It's not the name but the content that matters.

As you could see by a couple of my posts, I voted for The Logbook. I'm losing but I still don't want another vote. Any poll can be manupulated if the voting is done over and over. I vote to stick with the vote. It's sort of like our Town meetings. 5000 people in town but only 20 people show up to decide where the taxes are all spent.

I think we should schedule a debate. Tim Sample could be the moderator. Questions would be encrypted so the general public would know less about us then they already do. We could do it on Channel 10 and they could raise money during breaks. I'll be the bartender and will make up Danny's Rules of Order as we go along. This could be big folks!

I think Darterfox meant taking the top two choices, re-opening the vote with just two choices and voting a second time that way rather than voting repeatedly for this one vote.
