    Default Maine Poem

    Too cute not to post

    ****************************************

    MAINE POEM

    It's winter in MAINE

    And the gentle breezes blow

    Seventy miles an hour

    At twenty-five below.

    Oh, how I love MAINE
when the snow's up to your butt
You take a breath of winter
And your nose gets frozen shut.

Yes, the weather here is wonderful
So I guess I'll hang around
    I could never leave MAINE
'Cause I'm frozen to the ground!!

This is funnnnny! Did you write it? I would love to have someone read it out loud on Saturday so I could record it and put it in the next podcast! Any volunteers?

Are you going to be in Winslow on Saturday? Or if not, who do you think should read it?

Thats a no-brainer...I think Hiram or Pedalchick or
Cape Ann Carol should recite the poem....but only after they inhale some helium. LoL

I sent this to a couple of people, and they all asked who wrote it. so I started Googling...

I found it here, as a "Wisconsin Poem" - with no attribution.

    And here, again, "author unknown".

    How about "Winter in Canada"?

    "Winter in New England"?

    Sheesh!

    (Never could find an attribution...)

NO WAY!! Helium is for the summer time, the good Doctor is for the winter time! He should be the one to aid in the reciting of it...

    Thanks for reminding me.

No i'm not going to be at the event I have an exposition show to be at this weekend for my second job...

Like I said it was just forwarded to me in an email so it doesn't matter who reads it and yes i'm sure it could be adapted to meet half a dozen states at this current time from Maine to Michigan and Chicago to Wisconsin
