Whose maps are more accurate? Garmin, Magellan or TomTom?

I picked up a Navagon 2100 and I find it to be awesome. I has some peoples driveways on it that were forced to be named for the enhanced 911 system. I have also noticed that routing seems to be as good or better than Garmin. These observations are around here of course. I will have a better idea of it's capabilities when we go to California in May.
    Happy Trails!

    Thumbs down Garmin....

I know Garmin uses Navteq and my City Navigator 8.0 which I got June of 06 still doesn't have the Route 3 bridge on it, in Augusta. I guess my GPS just thinks it's a leap of faith, every time I go that way.

Maybe we can get a Tom Tom on the next trip Downeast.

It is scary that they will route you down a one way street

Try to explain to the officer why you were listening to the voices in your car!!

True story . . . I may have told this one before.

I was parked in front of Bangor's City Hall and was leaving to go up the one-way street when a car approached me going down the wrong way of this one-way street. I flagged the driver down and asked what she was doing while informing her that this was a one-way street.

Her reply: "But my Tom Tom says to go this way."

My reply: "Well my knickname is Jay Jay and Jay Jay says this is a one-way street and you can't drive this way."

There is a free update for the Garmin, if anyone is interested. I don't know how much more accurate it is, but at least they have the new '95 exit numbers correct now. You can order the CD from their website.
