    Default Archiving a favorite hide

I stopped by Lake Auburn today to check on one my favorite hides, Pretty as a Picnic, Nano Cache (GC15JT4). These types of containers have had difficulty keeping the logs dry, so I was eager to see how the one was holding up.

As I pulled up I was horrified to see that the two signs attached to the sign post the cache was hidden on had been severely damaged and partially destroyed by shot gun blasts. Since the future of the sign post is in doubt, and a high muggle factor exists, it seemed like a good time to call it a day.

Most caches seem to have life cycle and muggles are always a problem, but it just seemed a wrong to end this one on this note.

I had been "saving" that one because I heard it was a little difficult , I wanted more experience before I tried it. Yesterday morning I made up a "to do" list for this week and "pretty as a Picnic" was on it finally. I hope you are going to do a similar one in the Lewiston/Auburn area soon.
