Tell your story of the stingy things MsTeeLee!!!!!! That even scares *me* and I wan't there!!
Our scary story is on GCQ235 "Crooked Cache" and is similar to Hollora's story. We pulled in to the parking area and we were under constant surveillance by Hannibal Lecter. This guy was one of the scariest looking dudes you ever saw! We walked the short distance and found the cache surrounded by porn magazine clippings, signed the log with all due haste and prayed Hannibal would stay in his truck until we were able to get out of Dodge. We still point out that area as "The Axe Murderer Place".

I think the weapon of choice at Fitz cache would be mace, nothing heavier caliber needed.
Throw a Barbara Streisand CD and run in the opposite direction!

Once the game is over, the king and the pawn go back in the same box.
I've done a couple where I ended up on terrain that I shouldn't have been on, and one time I was with the Goddess and I thought she broke a rib, but so far that's all. I did get stared at at the Fitz cache but that was more sad than anything.

A lot of people thought I was taking a lot of risk kayaking the Maine Island Trail last year. But it was much safer than my last high risk adventure: commuting from Maine to Massachusetts and back every day!
The scariest thing I've ever seen has to be the ride to the cache. I've seen people get distracted with cell phones, gps units and maps. I've seen so many cars tailgate, speed and cross the center line, the woods seem very safe to me.
As far as guns are concerned, my scariest cache was in Bogata Colombia. I was supposed to fly to Bogata, get a hotel, then continue on in the morning to Armenia. My plane was a little late on arrival into Bogata and I would have had to leave the hotel a little before midnight. I was too scared to go.
On the way back, I was supposed to have a short layover and head to Atlanta. I missed my connection and had the whole day to spend in Bogata. I've heard Colombia is the most heavily armed country not at war. It certainly is the biggest gun show I've ever seen!! I was much, much more afraid of the taxi driver. I should have been afraid of those artery clogging fries back home!
