Default Get to it Before it's Gone

If you haven done our "Over the Horizon" cache yet (GCH6E7), you may miss out on the best part of the search - the OTH Radar site.

    See this article:

    http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmp...cold_war_radar

The cache is not generally winter acessible, but I don't think they'll start dismantling before mud season is over.

This one is worth the trip. You can see the array from miles away. It's hard to get a feel for the scale of the system until you get close.

I can not believe all the money they spent to construct that and they never put it into full operation and now look at the money they are going to spend to tear it down.

The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four persons is
suffering from some sort of mental illness. Think of your three best
friends -- if they're okay, then it's you.

Hey Haffy - what happened to the yellow snow?
Did you eat it and now it's gone? LOL

    Default You didn't?

But you did Bruce - you said you did anyway.
Here is your log from the North Island cache.....

Well, third time's the charm, as they say.

Eas find when the cache is there! LOL! And I'm glad we got it before the BIG snow of the season hits. I'd hate to try and go that distance on snowshoes. Took nothing, signed log, left nothing but a little yellow snow. TFTC

Yup, you're right. I was thinking of something else.

Mind is pretty well shot at my age...

But like Haffy says, it's covered with snow now, anyway. LOL!
