Red face setting up a new cache

I have been trying to set up a new cache page and while waiting for approval I have been playing with the layout a bit. I am struggling to make it a readible page. I want the html box checked so I can put the geocaching maine link in it. But the problem I am having is the description is fairly long and is very difficult to read cause it is all in one very large block of typing. I would like to be able to add indents and spaces between lines and I try to do it while editing the page then I click submit changes and then veiw changes and get a big block again. I'm thinking I am doing something wrong.

I should know how to fix this but I am drawing a blank. I guess when you get to be my age your memory comes and goes

Dave it sounds like it is because you are in html mode and you have to toye in htmal codes all everything will be all one line.

To put a page return where you want the line to end you type <br>
To put a space between lines you have to have a <br> at the end of the previous line and a <br> at the line where you want the space.

    I hope this helps.

I know I am an HTML dope. Some day Brdad will hold an HTML seminar for all us dolts. I can never seem to be able to get separation on text either.
    Happy Trails!

Don't forget the search function on the homepage as well. Here is what I found using it. http://www.geocachingmaine.org/forum...earchid=259324

Use the link to us page and copy and paste the code below the banners. Hope that helps!!!

    Thumbs up Nvu

I was shown this html editor and it has helped make my cache pages much more organized.

    http://nvudev.com/index.php

All you have to do is create the page in the document, exactly as you want it to look. It will then produce the page in html for you. Copy and paste and you are done.

The download is free. Hope this helps.
