Anyway, go to eBay (http://www.ebay.com) and do a search on "geocache".
Always some interesting items there. Great buys on ammo cans - bids starting at one penny - but shipping is $10! Sheesh!

And there's a VERY well stocked Army surplus store in Newport that has ammo cans for $4.95.

Wow! That IS a good place - shipping for those 6 cans is only $8, so the delivered cost per can is.... (getting out the Zire 71...) only $4.656666666667!

I ordered 6 ammo cans, and they just arrived. Very well packed, and they look almost new. Definitely a lot nicer cans than the ones you usually find in surplus shops - no rust, no dings, etc.

This place if recommended for ammo cans. Now lets go out and replace those damaged plastic containers! LOL!

Or (as we will be doing this next week), put out some more caches!

Upon hearing of your endorsment of those good deal ammo cans I ordered 6 myself. I also plan on setting out some new caches in the next few weeks as well as another event. Watch for details.
