    Default Geocoin........How expensive

What's the largest price you've seen/heard paid for a Geocoin?

I believe one of Moun10bike's went for quite a bit on ebay. I don't remember exactly, but it was a lot.

The new Pocket Decoder coin by The Caching Place sold out at $19.50 each plus shipping. There is an inside wheel with the codes which will be interchangable. The wheels will sell for $3.50 each plus shipping.

I may be wrong but I do not think he was asking what other people have paid for coins. I think he was asking us as individuals what the most is that we have paid for a coin. Correct me if I am wrong Squirrelcache?

I have seen some Geocoins on EBAY go OVER $100.00. The funny thing is if they wait about a month the prices are nearly rock bottom. Not all coins are as rare as claimed.

Where the hell is that thing?

The most I have spent on 1 coin is about $30.00. Thats as far as I will go, and that is NOT a coin that will be released into the public.

I didn't want to ask about how much people have spent specifically, because that's a personal matter. I was curious about some of the high prices that have been paid for a geocoin, stories that we might have come across and why someone would have paid so much for the coin.
