Thread: Caching and gas prices

Thumbs up Caching and gas prices

We all are watching the price of gas. I find it nice to know what the price of gas is in a area that I might be caching in. For instance the gas in our area is going for about $3.87 - $3.92 a gallon and thats for the cheap stuff. Sometimes we wait to find a better deal to fill up. If we know ahead of time then we might be able to plan a trip caching in an area with cheaper gas and save some money while we are having fun. A great time caching with cheaper gas makes a happier cacher. Sometimes when searching for cheap gas online we don't get anywhere close to where we want to be caching for places with cheaper prices. So post your gas prices for your area. We will keep ours updated as prices go up and down (hopefully down).

    Default Gas

Indian Hill was 3.85 yesterday. Pretty good "deal" for upnorth pricing.
Sometimes the road less traveled is less traveled for a reason.

We just got back from Quebec where we had a 6-day vacation ending with a visit to the Rendezvous Quebec 2008 geocaching mega-event. While on the trip, we bought our first $100 tank of gas! (Price over $5 a gallon there...)

was 3.79 for a couple of days here in Boothbay, but now back up to 3.89. With the Shaw's/Irving thing I did pay just (!) $65 to fill up the other day!
