Default Do you believe in karma??

Hehe, with a pic like this I sure do!

Yeah, so Dave won vs goliath, but met his match with a mudhole...

(and yes, that's my wheeler that is pulling his, and no he's not trying to pull me into it...)

and of course we did tread very lightly and put all the squirrels back in their place

and along the way we came across some possible future cache sites, such as this beaver dam...

and for anyone interested I got the latest issues of the tread lightly newletter, I have about 15 copies, if ya want one let me know and I'll get it to ya somehow.

and btw dave... how bout posting the pics connie took of your wheeler????

    Default Where's Mediwislah?

We are always hearing about Dave and Connie, but what about Steph? Does she 4-wheel, ATV style?

I'm jealous, those were some awesome trails, That dam was creepy when you drove beside it, being lower and all. That mud hole must of been the one a little further on the left. I don't remember it being on the trail. we rode southern Maine (Shapleigh) this Sunday and the trails were so different than those ones, they spoiled us. But the veiw on top of Abbott Mt. was worth it, and yes, we parked at the bottom and walked up. It would also be great to have ATV caches on the trails up there, I'm to far away to maintain them but I'll def be back riding.

From the pic the mudhole doesn't look all that bad.

I didnt think it looked to bad either until it just swallowed the whole damn atv. I was very lucky I was able to retreive Connie with out a lost of life. It was a near miss. I guess I need to start straping her into the atv

    Heres right after it happened

Heres Hiram acting all crazy, you should never allow him to drink while on the atv

Heres where we decide that Hiram atv wont get us out

Heres where I break the winch and decide its time for an upgrade

If you look at the pictures and realize the trail before the hole was really good and the trail after the hole was really good you realize this whole thing could have been avoided if Hiram had gone first.

I dunno dave, I got around that mud hole with no problem...

I see that you forgot to add the part where my atv finally did end up pulling you out because your winch broke...
