Ya, that's a bit of an understatement there Hiram, don't ya think. This weekend is looking like a runner up however. I can't wait. This is going to be a long week at work. So are you and Steph coming or what?
    Happy Trails!

understatement... heh, the colder the better.
unless all your sleeping bags have split open, and your down jacket, and your boots...

I still haven't replenished my gear... I priced out what it would cost to replace my too far damaged stuff, and it doesn't look good. I tried repairing one of my bags, but the material just keeps coming apart, it's done for... but i've still got working snowshoes. So we'll probably just come down for the day.

You can get a good zero degree down bag for $149. What else do you need Hiram?

I think he wants to know how to get Medawookie out there to warm it up for him! LOL!

Sheesh! I haven't done any winter camping since my Boy Scout days-MANY years ago - and I don't plan on starting now! LOL! Have fun, guys!

    Default Cold

    That sure sounds like fun.

You wont catch me out camping in that kind of weather unless somrthing tragic happens and I am forced to.

It may be pretty darn cold outside this weekend but I bet once you get a fire going in the cabin you'll bring it right up to the mid 50's. Add in some booze and you'll be plenty warm.
