    Default HTML help

I noticed that a few in here know a little about HTML and I would like a little help. Sometimes I would like to add a hyperlink to a post or a quick reference to a subject but keep messing it up somehow. Like when someone says look "here" and it includes the link. Can someone direct me or teach me how you do it? Thanks

When you want to post a link just click the icon that looks like a globe and enter the URL of the site you want to post. When you mouse over the icon, it will say "Insert Link".

Alternatively, if you want to use custom text for a link, type the text you want to show and then left click and drag your mouse over the text to select it. Then click the icon that looks like a globe and enter your URL as stated above.

If you want to post a link to a cache from GSAK, I have a macro for that. But I think we have had this discussion, and you had not upgraded to the newer version then.

Yeah I think I have Bruce but when you get older what's the thing that goes 1st I just couldn't remember how it was done. Rick's post seem kind of complicated with a lot of steps,is there a shortened version to do the same thing?

    Sheesh! Simple procedure:

    1. Go to page you want to link to, right-click and copy website address.

    2. Write your message. Highlight (left-click) text you want to use as link.

    3. Click on globe/link in message bar. Right-click and paste website address.

    4. That's it.

That's because there is an error in the code. You have http// in there twice. Take the second one out and it should work fine.

    Nice link too.
