If you want to try cross country skiing, start with a small country
I have to admit, I did nothing except go the awards presentation.
Kacky, JimsJems and Martes deserve all the credit. Their efforts to help clean ALT lands and to learn and promote land stewardship are a shining example of what Geocaching can be.
The farmer gave permission to place the cache in the field, but the bull charges.
Aw thanks... just getting around to checking message boards. Katadin Goddess was the first to make contact with the ALT, then I asked for permission to place a cache a couple years ago at the same time they were looking for hikers to partner with, so it fell into my lap. Really in the past year, it was Martes & JimsJems that did all the hard work. Just goes to show you, DO NOT be shy about asking for landowner permission. It can lead to a great friendship and more places to hide stuff.
