It seems like we hit a new low for spam this morning with porn. I've got to admit, I wasn't planning on reading that title first thing in the morning.

Geocaching Parrotheads
Why can't we get a government sponsered tick eradication program?
Yeah...they managed to get one past the goalie.
Everyone has the right to be an idiot at times. Just don't abuse the privilege.
I noticed it too. Of course, I don't know how you couldn't notice that one.

Good thing my kids were out of the room. Sheesh.
Oscilating between remarkable brillance and sheer stupidity with amazing regularity.
Mine wasn't. Thank god for Disney channel.

So far, we can't block these guys until after they join - which Rick has been doing. I'm hoping he can come up with a way to validate new members before they're allowed access. I'm pretty sure it can be done because I've had to be validated on other sites using this same software. So... We wait to see what Rick can do.
This guy "FemPreermaGow" joined from an ISP in Kiev, Ukraine. I alerted Rick first thing this morning, but the damage had already been done.
I needed a second cup of coffee after I opened that one! If we can't block people until after they join, is there a way to block posting pictures? You can only be so offensive with text, but the pics get bad quick.
Sorry everyone got it as soon as I could.
Blazing Troll
Quite frankly, spammers are pretty good at what they do. It takes but a nano (no pun intended) second to develop a method to overcome whatever walls one places to prevent it. So, along with black flies, ice storms and the occasional dnf on a "1" difficulty, spam becomes another thing we have to deal with. Certainly offensive material is a step too far.
I'm not sure this would work for this forum but on our company website, we have interactive features that we limit to clients in North America and block those outside NA by blocking the ISP. They still can view, just can't take part . Would that work here? Allowing viewing but block outside the US and Canada?

What? I missed porn? Was it caching related atleast?
