    Default Windows Vista SP2?

Has anyone installed the Windows Vista SP2 yet?? I got the windows update notification today that it was available for download, but I'm not sure to get it yet or not.

I haven't gotten any notification yet. Perhaps that's just an update for the Canadian version of Windows Vista.

I just read an announcement that they are going to release Window's 7 on October 22nd of this year. Heck I don't even use Vista yet... I'm still am XP guy and love things the way they are right for now.

Starzz - for the record - I have installed Vista SP2, but don't see any difference. I've always felt that it was best to install service packs, though.

With a DSL connection, took me about 15 minutes.

Post I used to be anti-vista too

Since I got my new laptop last fall which has Vista I have had no bad experiences. Whatever fears I had were soon put to rest. Vista security issues haven't been a problem at all. For me anyway. As long as it does what it's been doing I'm happy.
    Happy Trails!
