Did he hide this himself? Or have someone else hide it for him? I'll have to check it out

    Default Gob-ler

I believe the cache is on the property of TeamRichards but that in years past there was a combination of effort from TeamRichards and Dick. For those that don't know, Dick (gob-ler) is a Major and County Coordinator in Beaver County PA with the Salvation Army. For those of you that can, the "Army" does a great deal of good for folks that truly need it so tossing a few dollars in the kettles is a good thing to do.

My guess is that Dick didn't make it to Maine as this is a busy time for the Salvation Army but I have been to the cache location, albeit at a time it was archived, and it's a nice place to bring the kids.

Sometimes the road less traveled is less traveled for a reason.

After we saw the one last year, I must say that I am sorry we will miss it this year. If the expenses were not so high with the move, I would think about going back up to visit just so we can do the cache. Regardless, a big Kudos goes out to everyone involved.

I have heard about this before. I'm going to try and make a trip down sometime soon.
I have no enemies, but I'm intensely disliked by my friends.

We ventured out in 15 degree weather today and went to the Christmas cache. This is a cache without equal and should be on your "bucket list" whether you have kids or not. We took Chip the geo-pup and his "Uncle Peppy" (my parent's dog whom we are keeping while they are in Florida for a week). So well thought out, maintained, and just a wonderful "point of light". Thank you so much for the work that went into setting up and maintaining this cache.

How do you do a "Mega"? Well, here is a Mega Cache ~ so if you want to know ~ you just must go.

To echo the sentiments of so many, thank you and yes, a wonderful example of nice things for our community. This is my 4th year visiting the Christmas Cache and I have never been disappointed.

Each year has been better and better. But had there never been a change made from the olde footlocker filled to the brim - the wonder of what to expect and what you might find is still something out of a true magic and a Christmas tale. It is not the gift but the meaning behind the story and the magic of the message.

Sincere thanks to everyone who has made this happen and ensured it will remain (at least for this year) as a time honored and treasured tradition. As I was watching granddaughter, Amara's dazzeling eyes as she selected her gift, I thought of our friend Gob-ler. I said a little thought and hoped all was going well with his new mission and for those who are less fortunate in his area. I knew Amara's delight would warm his heart as does the delight of all knowing and experiencing the magic of this season.

Thank you to Gob-ler and Team Richards (as a family)! Merry Chirstmas everyone!

Sounds like fun. Maybe we can come down.
