Default Now this is an event!

    "Fear Factor...Live!" a geocaching event.

I watched the show once and they were eating sheeps eyes and that was the last episode I ever watched. I guess I'm saying that I would be a no show at this event too. I didn't see that Gob-ler had attended even though I saw listed a few contest involving "pooo"

Actually sounds like a fun event. Unfortunately, this is not the way caching should be. (oohhhhh, I couldn't resist)

I read that a 14 year old girl won the event after eating so many Rocky Mountain Oysters in a very short time frame. ***gag, cough, gag***

I can eat most any meat if it is cooked, and most any plant if it's not cooked, but swap either of them and it gets tougher quickly.

I am glad most events don't go this route!

Sheesh, Brdad! Having lived in the south, I know that the average supermarket sells several "meat" items we would never see in Maine stores. I can just imagine MsTeeLee making you a nice bowl of chicken feet stew, or BBQ pig tails. LOL!

If it's cooked, I'll try it. I'm more afraid of what vegetables are in that chicken foot stew than the feet! It can't be any worse than cow's tongue, which I have had. Not horrible tasting, but a not so good texture! But I am not sure I could eat an entire cooked carrot and hold it down if you offered me $1000. I'll eat them all day raw, however!

Try Andouille. I've everything that's been offered in a dozen countries, but other than raw onions, french pig intestines are the only thing that I just can't eat. If I had to choose between the two, it would be a toss up!
The farmer gave permission to place the cache in the field, but the bull charges.

Years ago, when I was first told that we were being assigned to Turkey, my first reaction was "Sheesh! They eat sheep's eyes there!". But in 3 1/2 years, I never saw a sheep's eye that wasn't in the sheep, and although we ate some things that I doubt were what they were purported to be, we was pleasantly surprised by the cuisine.

Sheesh! I love Poutine, but I bet it would gross out many of the GCM.com members! LOL!

Googled poutine and it looks yummy to me - not very healthy, but yummy.

I like poutine, had it a long time ago at the frog festival in Biddeford. Pigs feet, ham hocks, lambs tongue, dried beef, dandelions, shore greens, mussels, periwinkles, tamale, and on and on are all good. Two things I can't eat is raw scallops and tripe. Tripe just because I can't seem to chew the stuff. and then theres scallops.

My grandfather ate raw scallops as we got them right off the boat with a little vinegar. I tried them and liked them a lot. Then one day I got some vinegar in a cut and it burned like hell. The next time I had scallops I thought that must hurt the totally exposed flesh and all. Then I saw the lump of flesh move. I didn't believe it but it kept moving. Well to say the least that was the last time for raw scallops. Cooked fine, but not raw.

I am sorry I missed that event. It sounded like fun.
I have no enemies, but I'm intensely disliked by my friends.

Governor's has poutine, probably not as authentic as the real thing. I've never tried it, but Brian has had it and it looks interesting. I prefer my fries dry with some pepper or other seasoning.
