Default Presentation of Salt Documentary on Geocaching in Maine

    Hello everyone,

I want to invite anyone who is interested in seeing/hearing the documentary I produced about geocaching in Maine to come to an opening reception at the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies here in Portland.

The reception will take place Thursday, December 17th from 5-8pm at the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies, 561 Congress Street, Portland, ME.

And again, I want to thank everyone who spoke with me and helped me to learn more about geocaching. It is a short documentary, and unfortunately I couldn't include everyone's voices, but everyone's interviews informed my understanding of the sport and I think informed the piece.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, and I do hope to see you there!

    -Amanda

I hope to get there! I know you did a lot of research.

Hopefully at some time you can also include it on a video maybe on You Tube or something like that.
So are you bitten by the goecaching bug yet?

Thanks Amanda for the invitation. You obviously were doing a thorough job on this subject. I will be anxious to see it. If we can make it we will respond to you.

Thank you for the invitation and wished I lived closer. Hopefully, we can see this someday - through a link somewhere. It was nice meeting you - hope to meet you on the trails again someday.

I'm a little scared to hear/see it. This could go a very interesting way. Carnival rides, rescues, DNF's, a lot of other adventures sneaking in.

Lee and I wee glad to attend tonight to see Amanda's work and it was nice to see Mike and team Richards there as well. There were some very nice presentations by the students and I know I am partial but I think the Geocaching presentations were the best!

You missed a really good one at the end it was a mother and daughter roller derby team. It was really something else.

Amanda you did a great job. You should be proud. We got to see a few of the multimedia pieces and I have to say the Geocahing one was awesome.
