    Question Tb information

Sorta new to this site but picked up a travel bug that has a mission of traveling around US to dairy farms. Was wondering how we would be able to find caches near dairy farms?"?

there are a few caches near Winter Hill Dairy Farm in Freeport...I think Florida Lake is one...GCXNN1 and GCPBXT. They are just up the road, but not sure their sign is there anymore...tell them TeamHorwich sent you ; ) http://www.randallcattleregistry.org/page7D1.html

There is no way to do a search that I know of. But this is a god place to find out. Ask here and we can tell you of ones we know.

Powerful lake view Kind of near Winterport is right beside a small dairy farm.
That's the only one I know of.

It occurs to me that you only need to find one dairy farm with a cache nearby....in which you can place the TB. Of course, many TB's are placed in new caches without the finder/placer ever reading the TB's mission. You could do that and perhaps the next cacher/finder knows of a dairy farm where it can be placed. But you should not think that the TB can only be placed next to a dairy farm. Then again, you could find your own dairy farm and place a new cache nearby, then place that TB in the cache.

It may be a hike but my Before Lizzie Borden cache is right across from a dairy farm.

Also, "Sargent's Stream" cache is a hop, skip and jump away from a dairy farm . . . an Amish dairy farm even!

In this case, if I couldn't find a cache at a farm,I would just find a nice impressive "Dairy Farm", and take a picture of the farm with the TB in the for-ground, then I place the TB in any old cache. I might add a little history about the farm I took a picture of for the TB owner. After all; the TB visited the farm when you took a picture of it.

Go to http://maps.google.com, Then, zoom to the area you wish to cache in. Type in "dairy farm" in the search window. If there are any dairy farms in the area, they might show up. You might need to zoom out a bit. Once you know where the dairy farms are, you can use that location to search for nearest caches.
The farmer gave permission to place the cache in the field, but the bull charges.

Should have thought about this before. I know a guy in the state agriculture that can help. If you tell me where you are I can find a farm nearby and a cache combo.
