Garmin's website is still saying 1000 waypoints on the 450. They don't mention caches as such. The 550 can hold 2000 waypoints. For $100 more that is.
Happy Trails!
According to this Garmin page, they can hold 5000 geocaches via GPX file. I think Geocaches are in a different category than waypoints on these units. That's enough to hold all of the non-micro caches in the state!

DNFTT! DNFTT! DNFTT!
"The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it..."
Let's hope not before they can attend to all the previous problems they have had in the past and also address all the major issues that they
had with the previous other 2 GPS's that they produced. Maybe they are waiting to see what others are doing in the handheld GPS world before embarking on another.
Just smile it won't crack your face
The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four persons is
suffering from some sort of mental illness. Think of your three best
friends -- if they're okay, then it's you.
I know that soon you will be able to store how many ever caches your SD card can hold for the pn40...they will just be in separate gpx files of 1000 each....
5000 caches? I like that.
Oscilating between remarkable brillance and sheer stupidity with amazing regularity.
