That's interesting, a cache that doesn't have the FTF from EMSdan or Mainiac.... Oh yeah, the picture is pretty cool too! I wonder who came upon that image that new what they were doing...

Ben and I often check Street View before heading out to a cache just so we know what to expect. I imagine a lot of other people do the same, so that could be how it was found!

Yes, it's a shame GC did not implement street view into their maps yet

sheesh, I remember the good ol days of caching.... wandering around in circles tryin to get the numbers to match up and with the clues written on the back of a napkin. none of this fancy check the satelite image stuff before ya go. and we still found caches, 10ft of snow up hill both ways and 100degree weather! caching sure has come a long way....

I usually use Street View when I can as well. There were a couple of caches that I had them pretty much figured out as soon as I did that.

It would be great if Google Street view had lame guardrail and lamp post recognition ability.

Oh, well, we still wander around in circles ) That's the best part. hehe

We just use it for things like knowing whether or not to expect a long walk if we have time constraints. Last night we wanted to get a cache but knew we'd only have about 30 mins of daylight left after work, so we checked Street View to make sure we weren't going to end up someplace spooky in the dark.
