Hey Dan thanks for that link. Maybe the powers to be can insert this someplace on the webpage for others to see and use.

I too bring extra logs with me for replacing old or wet logs. I bring small plastic bags with me too. If a log is full I replace it and keep the old log with me. I PM the cache owner and ask if they want it sent to them. If the log is wet and unsignable,I replace it, then I try to dry the old log...if its beyond that I throw it away and notify the owner.
I have had medical problems of late (bum foot) and isn't it how it goes....a bunch of needs maintanece icons are poping up on my caches; so I know both ends of it.

My comment about people taking out my logbooks is just because I find it interesting to read what people have written at my caches in the logbook. There seemed to be some negative talk in the past regarding people just signing and not leaving a note anymore, so I assumed I was not alone in that aspect. I guess I would worry that by telling people we were ok with logs being taken out of other people's caches, that some might be mislaid and could cause some bad feelings. I am all for helping to add logs and plastic bags and everything we can do to make it easier, but taking logs I am not so sure about. Maybe its not that big of a deal and if you get thanked, it surely isn't.
