    Default What the???

I'm not sure what is going on myself, but here is what Rick posted on his journal for Jun 22 (no other entries since Jun 14):

"For the time being I will not be submitting any more trail entries to this journal. There is one individual that cannot keep there wise and rude comments off my guestbook. This has spoiled it for the time being for those that were following my progress.

I am still keeping a journal, I will just not post it online for now.

Sorry but sometimes one bad apple doese spoil the whole bunch.

    Troll "

I don't know of anyone on GeocachingMaine.org who dislikes Rick - can't think of any reason why they would.

If I could get a message to Rick, I'd ask him if there were some way he could email his journal entries to me for posting here. Any suggestions?

Yeah - I saw that. But we don't really know what is going on. But like I said - too bad there isn't some way Rick could communicate with us to give us updates.

I'm not into text messaging or those other fancy cell phone techniques - not sure what's available.

I am guilty of not sending the package. I put it in the Slim Jims and juice in the van and buried it. Just found it.Now I'll have to try and send it to the next stop.

I would really like to meet this guy whom is giving grief to the Troll.
I have no enemies, but I'm intensely disliked by my friends.

    Sheesh! Me too!

(Some members may not know that in addition to being the webmaster for this site, Rick is also the webmaster for an Appalachian Trail related web site, WhiteBlaze.net)

I have never met Rick but I too am very much enjoying his posts! It's very cool to be right there with someone and reading about their day while hiking the AT! Hope it gets resolved soon.....I didn't realize he was the webmaster for this site - I learn something new every day.

Rick has hosted several events - most famously his "pig roast" events - and attends most other events. We'll surely have a "Welcome Back Rick" type event this fall. Bottom line: he's usually available - you just need to attend a few events! LOL!

Rick is a nice guy. It's that &*%$(*)_& covering for him you have to watch out for.
