    Way to go, Rick!

(I'm going to start including the link to the journal entry in the daily update so people don't have to keep scrolling through the thread to get to the journal link.)
Thanks Bruce . . . that would be appreciated . . . at least by me.

    Default Rick

Thanks from me as well. Sounds like he's off to a great start.....and he tried to hijack his own thread with a beer story!

There's a link to the left of ATTroll's logs to an AT Site with a map, too, where you can see where the shelter's are. I clicked on the shelter icons to find the ones he mentioned in today's log, and saw photos of the shelters. It's been fun following along!

Oh my word.... The preparation for the trip that Rick has made is unbelieveable. But in addition to that is the incredible web site that he has made to follow his progress. I realize that I should not be impressed, given his expertise with this geocachingmaine site. But.....what a well organized web page he has for this trip. I'm already addicted and will follow it daily. This is better than any reality show going. Wow....

I have to agree with you Dan, his commitment to detail is amazing. I went up to Monson to help him with the supper he puts on for the through hikers last fall and it was the same way. Every detail was thought out. I eagerly await each new posting to his journal...makes me wish I was back out on the road riding my bike.
