Clingman's Dome was the first mountain I biked up! I still remember it, even though that was 1973! That was back when you'd see bears along the road feeding on tourists.

Default Sheesh! Lets Play "Where's Rick"!

Sheesh! No journal updates in a week. Anyone heard from Rick via other methods? How's he doing?

I wonder if he got stuck up there like a cat in a tree?

I think cell reception is spotty at best through the 70 miles of Smoky Mtn. back country and I'm assuming no news is good news!

I was wondering the same thing last night when his logs had not been submitted. Hope all is well and we will get lots of news with the update when it comes.

Plus there is snow in some locations at that altitude so it might be slowing him down some. At least that is what I heard. Plus Gatlinburg is a hoping place so maybe he is taking some "zero" time and enjoying himself there.
