I wasn't thinking of him on my way down. I was trying to figure out which tree branch was going to skewer me.

Hope your trails are much better than ours. Hope you weather is as good as ours was.

Hope your trekking partners are as good as ours was.

Hope you health continues to be very good.

Wishing you the best of luck also.

I will be crossing mile 700 tomorrow. I had to take a day off today to address my foot pain. I have been having bad heel pain in my left heel. I went to a doctor today and had x-rays. It is nothing major. He gave me stretches and a cortisone shot and told me everything would be fine. Next major town stop will be Waynesboro, VA in about a six days (I think).

Sheesh, Rick! Don't hurt yourself, but some of us are getting concerned about your pace. We don't want you to finish the trip in snowshoes! LOL!

But it looks like you're having fun, which is the important part.

And Ben found his way back to Hopper which actually didn't surprise us as dogs have great noses!

Ha Ha, I remember not too long ago in one of his first statements he mentioned not taking too many Zero days off. It seems that statement wasn't meant to be taken too seriously from the way he has been traveling lately. I say he is making good time and it won't be long before a few of you guys on the site here will be making a pilgrimage to the big "K" to make the final summit run with him. Wish I were around to be making that trek.
Just smile it won't crack your face

The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four persons is
suffering from some sort of mental illness. Think of your three best
friends -- if they're okay, then it's you.
